This design was inspired by a holiday on the Argyll island, Colonsay. The white beaches and tuquoise water were gorgeous. In my design I have drawn into the glaze to represent the ripples on the sand and when possible the glaze is applied in such a way to represent the movement of the water.

Full description
Handthrown earthenware mug glazed in turquoise/green and white. They have been shaped to fit well into your hands so ideal for a warming cup of tea or coffee on a cold day, if not your everyday mug for breakfast.
Colours vary in shades of green and turquoise due to variations in kiln firings. Matching bowls and milk jugs are also available.
