Full description
This gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf has been nuno felted using a blend of pink and purple merino wool fibres on a pink silk chiffon base. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. It has been felted on both sides and the woollen layer has been kept very fine allowing the scarf to maintain the sheer and lightweight nature of the underlying silk whilst having the warmth and softness of the merino wool.
This scarf is a dress length scarf designed to drape around the neck or across the shoulders. It measures approximately 130cm x 40cm (51" x 16").
The scarf is presented in a good quality kraft card window box with labelling to explain the nuno felting process and give washing instructions. This scarf is an ideal gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water and reshape while damp. Press on a warm setting (wool/silk) or using a pressing cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
