Full description
An amazingly soft and lightweight dress scarf in a rainbow of colours. Very fine layers of super soft merino wool in a rainbow blend has been nuno felted to both sides of a bright green silk chiffon base fabric to create this lovely scarf. It measures approximately 120cm x 40cm (47" x 16") and is designed to drape around the neck. Being made form natural materials it will be warm in winter yet cool in summer. A beautiful addition to any outfit, smart or casual.
Nuno felting is a process which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it to create a new fabric.
The scarf comes packaged in a lovely kraft card window box with labelling to explain the nuno felting process and supply washing instructions. A perfect gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water and reshape while damp. Press on a warm setting (wool/silk) or using a pressing cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
