Printed as an open edition, each print will be slightly different due to the nature of the printing process. The ink is mixed by hand in small batches so some variation in tone/coverage may occur. These 'imperfections' are common with printmaking, often a result of the idiosyncrasies of the press they're printed on.

Conceived as an illustration for a children's book about a girl who inadvertently befriends a crow after continually dropping toast crumbs behind her. I like the mixture of the more traditional linocut mark-making techniques in the snow and crow with the more cartoon-like little girl.
