Full description
A gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf made using a blend of merino wool in a rainbow of colours nuno felted onto an orange silk chiffon base fabric. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to penetrate the silk and bind with it creating a new fabric.
The resulting scarf is amazingly lightweight and drapes beautifully. It is a dress length scarf measuring approximately 126cm x 40cm (49.5" x 16") and is designed to drape around the neck or across the shoulders. Made from all natural materials it will be warm in winter while remaining cool in summer making this an all seasons scarf.
The scarf is presented in a good quality kraft card window box with labelling to explain the nuno felting process and give washing instructions. This scarf is an ideal gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water and reshape while damp. Press on a warm setting (wool/silk) or using a pressing cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
