I adore the Helford River in Cornwall - such a serene river in a gorgeous landscape. This painting is inspired by the trees on the opposite bank to the delightful Helford Passage. I think I've drawn them every year for the last decade, but this time I sat on the beach with saucer for a palette and painted them!
