A bird flies away with a heart.

Hand pulled, 5 colour screen print on Fabriano Rosaspina paper.

This piece is sold UNFRAMED

The paper size is 31 cm (H) x 31 cm (W) (Fits perfectly into an Ikea 50 cm x 50 cm Ribba frame which includes a mount as shown in one of the photographs)

Image size is 28 cm (H) x 19 cm (W)

Each of my prints is hand pulled and in a small limited edition usually of 8 - 10, each signed and numbered. Due to the process of screen printing there may be tiny variations in each print creating a unique and original image, nothing is lost in these minor variations. Colours are all hand mixed.

Each print will be packaged and shipped in sturdy cardboard tube to avoid folding and damage in posting. It will be posted by Royal Mail 1st class Recorded which normally takes 3-5 working days.

Orders outside of the UK will be shipped by Royal Mail International Tracking and Signing Services which usually takes about 7-10 days.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

The print is from a growing series which includes animals, this series is about ambiguity. The bird in this print could represent the giving of a heart, or love, to someone but it could also suggest that a love has been lost, taken or stolen away. The heart is shown as an anatomical heart, it represents the reality that love plays in our lives, how love keeps us alive and our need to be loved and to love.
