I've always been fascinated by the way people interact and 'play' with the jewellery that they wear, usually when they are 'thinking deeply' or having a bit of a daydream!
I'm also really interested in mechanical engineering and the way things 'work', so the two have been linked together in my kinetic designs, to form unusual and intriguing jewels.

Full description
This sterling silver bracelet is part of my ‘Spinning’ collection of kinetic jewellery. A contemporary bracelet design with a pretty double heart motif charm attached at the ring and bar clasp.
Designed and handmade in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques, the two hearts, one enclosed within the other, are able to spin freely around the central spindle. The charm is completed with a deep red garnet gemstone bead, also able to move freely on the central spindle. The bracelet is finished with a high-shine mirror polish.
The largest of the two hearts is 20mm wide, at its widest point, and is 4mm deep. Overall charm length is 24mm (1”) approx. Bracelet length 19cm approx., including handmade silver ring and bar clasp.
Hallmarked with my own maker's mark at the London Assay Office and presented in a Claire Wood Designer Jeweller gift box.
