Most of my days are spent making work aprons for artists/makers, but I do love handsewing and Christmas is the perfect time to make something fun and decorative - in this case I also had the satisfaction re-cycling and re-using. These robins are made from one of my favourite cardigans, which got disastrously torn whilst gardening. I made lots of these robins for friends and family for Christmas - but there are still a few left needing a home.

Full description
Christmas robin hanging decoration - a festive addition to door handles, the Christmas tree, or a special gift wrap. He/she has a brown chunky knit body with a finer knit 'red breast' sewn on with blanket stitch, a black felt beak, button eyes and a rustic string hanging tie.
Size approx: 18cm between beak and tail top, 12 cm from top seam (where the string goes through) to bottom of the tummy.
N.B. This robin is not a childrens toy.
POSTAGE: FREE UK POSTAGE. Royal Mail First Class. The robin will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper, and mailed in a recyclable bag.
