I love trees! Did my name on here give it away? I also have a favourite solitary oak tree, the oak in Mistletoe-oak, hence much of my work is based on the one tree shape.
This pendant reminded me of the tree.
The branches reaching up high to all the possibilities and the roots grounding out deep below.
However, on it's own, just Tibetan alloy, it felt too manmade. It lacked a natural feeling to it. So, using the ash from last year that was made into beads, I added this to the pendant with natural cotton cord to give back the natural earthy feel to the tree detailed.
Also, not being to heavy a metal, it is not too clunky to wear. Perfect for accompanying winter cardis and jumpers!
