Full description
This hanging 'pillow' has been handmade using a piece of natural-coloured rescued linen. I've hand embroidered a little robin on the front using a very relaxed stitch style - almost sketch-like. He's sitting on a branch of twine and singing his little heart out.
The pillow is lightly stuffed with a very soft toy filling and there is a loop of twine for hanging. A piece of gingham ribbon tied into a bow finishes it off. The edges of the pillow will fray over time due to the nature of the fabric but this will add to the look of the piece. It has a row of stitching all the way around and a second row of red zig-zag stitching which keeps the work secure (and the stuffing in!).
It measures just over 5 inches by 4.5 inches and would make a lovely addition to your festive decor.
