Welcome to Silver Birch Studio. My shop features a wide selection of handmade jewellery items, mainly in sterling silver with semi-precious stones. Copper and beaded jewellery are also featured. I have plenty of items in stock ready for immediate despatch.
I have paired the star pendant with blue goldstone because the tiny metallic particles inside it twinkle like stars in the Milky Way!

Full description
This beautiful sterling silver and goldstone necklace would make an ideal Christmas gift. It features a hammered silver star pendant 2.5cm wide attached to a smart necklace of sterling silver and blue goldstone round beads. The goldstone beads are 8mm and 6mm in diameter, a very dark blue with tiny twinkling star-like inclusions. The silver beads are 4mm and 3mm, with a polished finish. The blue and silver beads alternate at the front of the necklace and are arranged in groups further back, adding variety to the piece. To attach the star pendant I have used a clip-on fluted sterling bail. This allows you to ring the changes by wearing the necklace on its own or with a different pendant if you choose.The necklace is 17.5inches, 44cm long and fastened by a handmade silver clasp. I have added a 5cm extension chain finished with a round charm bearing traditional silver hallmark symbols from the London Assay Office. The necklace will be packaged in a smart gift box or organza bag and sent by Royal Mail signed for delivery in the UK, or by guaranteed delivery to other countries.
