I did a piece that was based on Autumn (see separate listing) and then decided to do one for each of the four seasons. For me, Summer is all about going to the beach, crabbing, playing with the kids....I thought i`d make a "real" woman with a figure that`s not perfect, but strong to match her character, and no fake tan!! She doesn`t get to wear her swimsuit often, but when she does, she`s comfortable in her own skin and doesn`t care too much what others think. i wish i was more like her!!

In the hopefully unlikely event of a return, postage must be covered by the buyer and the item returned to me in the same condition it was sent out in. I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage in transit, but will keep all proof of postage labels, so that if such were to occur, I can assist with making a claim.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

This artwork is one of 4 pieces, all of the same size, that I called "The Four Seasons." "Spring", "Autumn" and "Winter" are now sold.
Please note that the last image is just to show you all four paintings together. This listing is only for "Summer."
I used my own hand cut stencils to build up the patterns in layers, and I always use archival, artist quality brands such as Winsor and Newton, Amsterdam and Golden Artist Colors paints and gel mediums. The edges have been painted with different designs to match the painting.
It measures 20 x 50 cms, and comes ready to hang with fixings and cord attached on the back or can be displayed on a table easel if you prefer.
