applique & hand embroidered zombie kitten in pyjamas – size huge.
this fabulous festering feline measures 27cm (10 inches) from the top of her crazy ears to the tips of her toes.
i’ve hand dyed the cotton calico with a mottled corpse-grey colour, and pale blue linen & pink floral print cotton fabrics have been appliqued, and details drawn on, with free machine embroidery.
(fabric paint) goop has been spattered, and textural details picked out with hand embroidered french knots and bullion knots. her eyeballs are hand embroidered.
the cats themselves have been made entirely on a domestic sewing machine, everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me.
the zombies are made from medium weight calico. they’re stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852), and finished by hand.
i pre-wash all of my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if washed – whilst every care’s been taken, please wash with dark colours as dye may run, and colours will fade.
