My main inspiration usually comes from the colours of the beads themselves, as they are so vivid and beautiful. I love the effect creating by bordering simple patterns of transparent colours with black, as it creates a balanced and striking effect. This bracelet reminds me of stained glass.

Full description
An absolutely gorgeous piece, this beadwork cuff bracelet is made from over 1,000 glass beads, stitched one by one with great care and attention to detail. When fastened, it measures 16cm (or 6.25 inches) long, and is just under 3.5cm (or 1.25ins) wide. A pattern of graduated, dark- to light-green hexagons is bordered with black to create a striking geometric 'honeycomb' design, and the whole piece is edged with a picot stitch of even tinier green beads.
The bracelet closes with an integral button-and-loop fastening, woven using a matching green, which tones with the whole piece to create a harmonious look. The triangular shape of the buttons makes it easier to fasten and unfasten the cuff with one hand. As this bracelet contains no metal, it is suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
