Full description

Poppies and ears of corn are scattered throughout the cornfield of the hand-felted background of this embroidered cuff.

The embroidery is stitched in a variety of cotton threads. The poppies in the foreground are embroidered in ribbon. Mohair, merino wool and silk fibres are wet felted together to produce a rich range of colours in the background for the embroidery. The design is framed by couching, using a complimentary yarn.

The cuff is lined with felt and closes with a button and loop (crocheted from the same yarn as the couched border).

Dimensions -

Length - 7 5/8 inches approx ( This could be re-set to approx 8 inches by moving the button. Please contact me if necessary)

Width - 1.75 inches approx.
