This dog TREAT TIN has a sculpted Labrador head on the lid and is made from robust tinplate. It is an ideal size for storing dog treats in the car or in your bag. The mini sculpture on the push-on lid is a finely detailed relief of a Labrador head and is available in cold-cast pewter ( copper and bronze finishes, representing the chocolate and Golden versions of the breed, will be available in separate listings shortly, or alternatively please state the finish you'd prefer as a note to me when ordering from this listing).

The tin's 400ml capacity is large enough to store a couple of handfuls of 'Bonios' ( it comes ready filled!), and so this treat tin would make a perfect gift for any Labrador owner!
The tin is circular and measures approximately 9.5cm X 6 cm

To make this tin, I first sculpted the Labrador head relief in wax, and once the original was finished and moulded, I began to cast them in my shed. The casts are then cleaned up, wire wooled, buffed to a sheen, waxed and attached to the lid of each tin.

These tins are in addition to my existing Flatcoated retriever range of products, and more breeds will be added soon!

I am primarily an animal sculptor and I also love dogs! I found I needed something 'nicer' to carry dog biscuits in on walks or to put in the car rather than using my pockets or an old margarine tub!...and so the treat tins came into production!
The Springer Spaniel is next on my list (when I have time to sculpt one!), and as with this Lab I'll be using the beautiful pictures taken by photographer Jill Thompson of JTCliq, to sculpt from!❤️
