Full description
Measuring approximately 20.5cm in diameter and standing 2.5cm tall this shallow fused glass dish has been made with individually cut pieces of coloured glass arranged into a circular pattern. It was then tac fused during an 11 hour process in the kiln gently warming to 750 degrees Celsius and then gently coolong down again. A second firing over a ceramic mould allowed the plate to slump into shape. The glass is translucent allowing light to pass through and highlight the vibrant blues and greens.
