Inspired by stories of knitters who were taught to knit by older relatives, great aunts, nanas, grandmas.... people who are now often gone from our lives but not our hearts. I wanted to make useful pieces from time treasured and hand me down fabrics to store the tools we use when our hands make the stitches those loved ones taught us.
Fabric that has so much memory and is full of story often gets put away, forgotten about, these needle wraps have been made to remember and cherish, to be used and not kept for best or fancy.
If you have fabric that is precious or that has sentimental value I'm happy to create a custom made needle roll especially for you.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Made from time softened and re-purposed vintage fabric, this knitting needle roll is the perfect place to store your double pointed knitting needles.
The 2 levels of pockets provide plenty of space to store your double pointed needles with some pockets wide enough to store a needle gauge or larger sizes of needle. Thinner pockets are provided for smaller sized needles or crochet hooks. The 3 lower pockets on the right hand side are shallower and are designed for shorter cable needles.
The needle roll is fully lined as are the pockets.

The roll measures 9 inches wide by a height of 8 1/2 inches with the flap down.
The roll is kept secure with a piece of green vintage leather thonging.
