A babbit is a wonderful rabbity, bearlike creature born in the magical world of Knitwillo. Hand knitted in a teddy-brown blend of merino wool, cashmere and acrylic, Bartholomew is a very happy babbit who loves hugs and kisses (see him above with his friend Petal who is available separately). He will arrive in a gift box, wearing his favourite blue jerkin, and bring with him, a certificate of adoption telling you a little more about your new friend.

I first met the babbits on a hot summer's day when I was living in a small cottage in the country and found myself knitting an animal that wasn't quite a rabbit and yet wasn't only a bear. The babbits have accompanied me since on many adventures, but are ready now for me to share them with you.
