I wanted to create something inspired by the metalwork of the Vikings: this dagger shape is loosely based on metal work that has survived from that era.

Full description
This pair of earrings are made from non-tarnish silver plated wire. I formed the wire into a dagger shape, curled both ends and then hammered it flat to add strength. I then wove thinner wire the length of the daggers.
Each dagger is suspended from a fish hook with three jump rings, and at the end of each dagger is a charm or dangle created from two 4 mm Swarovski Elements tanzanite (light purple) crystals.
The earrings measure 3 inches or 7.5 cm (approximately) from the highest point of the fish hook, or 2 inches 5 cm from the loop.
The fixings used are silver plated fish hooks, suitable for pierced ears.
These earrings will be packaged in acid free tissue paper, enclosed in an organza bag.
