I noticed the pastel turquoise and lemon mixed yarn and I immediately thought of creating a newborn baby set that can be ideal for any . The pastel shades are suitable for either baby boy or girl and with the bobble effect, it creates character and texture to the sets. The baby hat and cardigan look chunky in effect but made with double knitting yarn , they can be made in chunky or Aran texture if required.

The knitted matching blanket is soft and cosy and has the turquoise and lemon mixed shades throughout and is finished with a simple and effective knitted edging. The blanket is an ideal size for a Moses basket, pram cover , or for holding the newborn baby in.
