A small sun catcher made with a variety of materials, glass, copper,mild steel and upcycled beads . The suncatcher measures 6cm across and 15cm long hanging on a 20cm cord. This suncatcher catcher is lovely with the sun shinning through it,casting light around the room.
The sun catcher is a delicate item and is not suitable for anything other than decoration, I have several of these around my house and garden, in windows and trees, my mother in law has one this size in her car.
Hang in a tree and watch it twinkle at night or hang in the window and watch light play through the glass.

I started making sun catchers in an attempt to find peace after a family tragedy. At first they were just for close family,friends and myself, incorporating elements of jewellery of our lost love one. Other friends kept asking for them so I gave them away in exchange for charity donations.
These sun catchers are made from bought beads and chains, the copper is generally recycled wire, and some of the elements are purchased at charity shop . The sizing is fairly random, each suncatcher comes together without plan,almost organic.I still have jewellery from our loved one to use but that's for us.
