I've had these fabric's packed away in a cupboard for many years. Some where leftover pieces from dress making projects. I was looking through my fabrics and came across them again and they just called to me.
Some pieces were only small off cuts and made me think of flowing summery dresses I'd made from them years ago. I wanted to make them into something summery and would show them off. Bunting always reminds me of summer time. I decided bunting was the best way to show them off.
I then found some pretty green lace in my lace box and knew it would give the bunting that extra special touch.

Full description
A length of vintage fabric bunting with green nylon lace trim. This very pretty length of bunting has been created using different vintage cotton/polyester fabrics. The fabric come from the period of the late 70's to the early 90's.
The majority of the ten flags are made from patterned fabric expect of the very light yellow/green flags which are plain in colour. There are two different shades of blue both with a different pattern of small white flowers. There are bold green and white large floral flags/pendants. Some of the flags/pendants are created from a rust and pink paisley inspired fabric.
The flags/pendents have been machine sewn on my Singer hand sewing machine. Then ironed and hand sewn to a length of olive green colour bias binding to hide the stitching. Bright green nylon bilateral lace has then been invisibly hand sewn over the bias binding.
Washing Instructions:
The bunting maybe machine washed at 30degrees. The triangles may be ironed on a cool setting but DO NOT iron the lace edging.

Flags are 15cm (6inches)long
Space between flags is 4cm (1.5inches)
Space before first flag 39cm (15.4inches)
Space after last flag 39cm (15.4inches)
