This is a one pint hand cast high fired earthenware jug, hand painted with fluttering bunting round the rim. The wind has caught the bunting and it is flipped over onto the inside of the jug too. You can feel the texture under the glaze and the flags are 'tied' to the handle with white string. I paint a heart on the handle of all my pieces, back stamp, sign and title it 'Endless Summer' (Oh for one of those!)

This jug stands 6" or 15cm tall and holds one pint. I paint using food safe underglaze colours and use lead free glaze. Each one of these jugs is painted individually so they are all different, although I do keep to a theme and colour scheme.

I attach an artist card to the handle and wrap in tissue before packing and sending in recycled materials wherever possible.

Miss Digby, the village newcomer, and producer of fluttering home dyed, hand stamped bunting, had been seen blatantly dancing in the rain, barely a stitch on! The word had got round and Mrs Fooks Jones (thrice winner of the Victoria sponge contest) was less than amused, concerned that her antics would be bringing the Village bunting ladies into disrepute by 'bunting association' Mrs Miggins thought she sounded rather windswept and interesting and popped over that very afternoon (taking the back lane so as not to be spotted by eagle eyes Mrs FJ.....)
