My inspiration for making this Brooch was to try and capture the delicate features of the flower, While being durable to everyday wear and tear. I love intricate detail and as with all my Designs I wanted to create a "one off " piece of Artwork.
This unique piece of Artwork can be worn by Men & Women, to mark any occasion or celebration.
Forget-Me-Nots are found in many Folk Stories, Legends and throughout History. They have been used as a Remembrance Flower to Commemorate the War Dead in Newfoundland and since 1926 used by the Freemasons as one of their Symbols. King Henry lV also adopted the Flower as his Symbol, during his exile in 1398 and retained the Symbol upon his return to England.
