I was really inspired by the sad faces of vintage clowns. I've always been a bit freaked out by clowns but creating this was all fun!

Grumpy Rhino Clown
This guy begs you to save him. He is not amused by my sense of humour... and finds that collar is plain ridiculous.
I made him from a grey velvet and herringbone wool. His horns are a beautiful checked handwoven Thai cotton. I made the inner ears in green corduroy to complement the horns and he has wee glass eyes. He is wearing a charming purple felt hat with a cerise pompom and lovely trimmings and his beautiful (yes, beautiful!) collar is harlequin checked cotton.
He is a truly charismatic piece that is bound to make you smile (even if it's just to cheer HIM up).
He measures about 45 cm from the wall to the top of the horn.
