Knickers were one sewing project I had never tried until quite recently, but as soon as I'd made my first pair, I was hooked! Such fun to make and the results always make me smile!
The 'made from vintage' knickers indulges my passion for rummaging around vintage fairs for fabulous finds...any excuse!
If you're wondering about the name, Adventures with Doris....I do love listening to a bit of Doris Day whilst sewing (and maybe a bit of a sing along too!) and this is definitely an Adventure! I hope you'll come along with me!

Full description
A comfortable, super silky, side tied, bikini cut knicker made from a vintage headscarf and black chiffon. The style sits low on the waist and has a soft, cotton jersey gusset. The waist and legs are finished with pretty, black picot elastic and black stitch detail. And the sides are tied with super long, pretty chiffon bows.
Made to fit 31-33" hips but the side ties give a little more flexibility!
Doris does recommend a good old fashioned hand wash as these knickers are made from vintage and delicate fabrics!
Adventures with Doris knickers come delivered in a lovely gift box, which measures 195x195x50mm. And for a limited time, the price also includes free U.K. 2nd Class postage. Multiple orders will be placed in one box, unless you specify otherwise. If your purchase is to be posted outside of the U.K. then please contact me for delivery options.
