I've become fascinated by the subtle colours and intricate patterns of vintage postage stamps from around the world, and have found that I truly love the process of blending these tiny pieces of everyday history into new imaginary landscapes.
The postage stamps are individually collaged into place with an acid-free, xylene-free adhesive then coated with a matt sealant for extra protection. They still bear fragments of postmarks and other cancellation marks as a testament to their former active service with postal services around the world.

Rainbow Travel Notebook:
48 page notebook with kraft cover, featuring original collage of vintage world postage stamps, page index, and any year calendar.
The notebooks shown have been sold - I will collage a new vintage stamp rainbow, just for you! (See pics - each one is different!) Notebook will have ruled pages by default, but squared or dot grid pages are available on request - just ask!
Simply packaged in a plain cellophane packet your notebook will be stampified into something utterly unique. No-one else will ever own a notebook quite like yours! Use for all your first class ideas, travel notes, and more.
The front cover is entirely covered with used postage stamps, then coated with a matt sealant for extra durability. The reverse of the collage (inner front cover) will be date-stamped & signed by the artist.
Customised notebook with firm-but-flexible kraft cardstock cover, secure stapled binding, and grey fabric tape covering the outer spine. Inside: 48 recycled paper pages,. A5 size, approx. 14.8cm x 21cm (a tiny bit bigger than a Moleskine medium cahier) ideal for sliding into a into a bag for notes-on-the-go or as a gift for a travelling friend.
