My inspiration for making this Brooch was to try and capture the delicate features of the flower, while being durable to everyday wear and tear. I love intricate detail and as with all my Designs I wanted to create a " one off " piece of Artwork.
Pansies were regarded in the 15th Centuary as a symbol of "remembrance". The word Pansy is derived from the French word " Pensee", meaning "Thought"
This unique piece of Artwork, is a beautiful delicate and feminine Brooch, that would make the owner stand out in a crowd.
It would make a Unique Gift for any Woman, to mark any occasion or celebration and will perhaps become an Antique of the Future........

Individually Designed, Handmade and Hand Painted Clay Flower Jewellery by myself -Artist- KERRY WILLIAMS.
I sign each Item of Jewellery.
You are looking at a variation of one, of my more unusual Designs. A symbol of "Remembrance"- The PURPLE PANSY STICK PIN- Lapel Flower Brooch
Each piece of Jewellery I make is Individually Designed, Handmade and Hand Painted. No moulds are used. EACH ITEM IS TOTALLY UNIQUE. The material used is a very refined modelling Clay. A Porcelain substitute. It fires a lot stronger than Porcelain, so intricate and fine detail can be used without it becoming too fragile! It also fires very light, so size is not restricted to a small sculpture and large Designs can be produced.
Exquisite, realistic detail, beautifully hand painted.
Stick Pin is Silver Plated-Size-3.5 cm ( 1 1/2 inches).
Washable.
Supplied in a presentation box.
Approximate size 2.5 cm ( 1 inch ) across and 2.5 cm ( 1 inch ) down. NOTE- THIS BROOCH IS HANDMADE TO ORDER, SO IT WILL BE SIMULAR, BUT A UNIQUE PIECE OF ARTWORK!
This will look lovely on a lapel of a jacket, scarf, dress and even on a hat.
