A stunning, colourful feature blanket from HappyHook to brighten any home! This amazing technicoloured stripy blanket is made using over 20 different colours. This is not a blanket to hide away but to display proudly for a vibrant splash of colour in any room. It will cheer you up on dark and chilly days and provide ample warmth while it does so!
My Rainbow Blanket was inspired by brightly coloured makes from the Attic24 and Annie's Place blogs. Both of them choose to make their blankets in a classic granny stripe. I choose to create mine using another well established crochet stitch for a solid heavy-weight blanket. A picture frame style border in cream has been added to set off the rainbow of colours. This HappyHook Rainbow Blanket has been very much a labour of love. It has taken many hours of work to complete so is very much a one-off piece. This deliciously bright and cheerful blanket measure 102 cm square great for a summer picnic.
The yarn and finished item is suitable for machine washing. You will just need to gently reshape whilst damp.
