The snow leopard (Panthera uncia syn. Uncia uncia) is a large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. It is listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species because, as of 2003, the size of the global population was estimated at 4,080–6,590 adults, of which fewer than 2,500 individuals may reproduce in the wild. This miniature is painted on good quality 300gsm painted card using white acrylic ink and measures a tiny 2.5 x 3.5 inches. This size is called an ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) and is highly collectible. ACEOs can be displayed in photo albums, on mini easels or in photo frames.
Presented in clear cellophane wrap with a certificate of authenticity and a very cute handmade mini envelope, all of my miniature art is a delight to both collect and to gift!
As with all water-based art, to keep it at its best it is important to display this painting out of direct sunlight and away from damp/humid conditions.
