15 Assorted pieces of blanket. These pieces may vary from pack to pack. There are offcuts of Welsh tapestry blankets, two or three narrow-loom blankets and some vintage pieces too. The narow loom blankets were made here in West Wales before the wider looms arived in the early 20th century. Before that time, the blankets were woven in long narrow strips then handsewn down the centre. Often the blankets were cream with indigo stripes as you will see by the 2 or 3 samples in this pack.

Lovely, lovely comfy Welsh blankets. I have handled so many in the years I have spent restoring them. All I can say is that here in West Wales we have lots of rain, lots of grass, lots of sheep, lots of wool and in years gone by, a mill in every little village. Welsh blankets are warm, colourful and hardwearing and have only one enemy - THE MOTH! (which helped to keep me in work for all those years!)
