The moment my father saw my very first creation from lost wax casting, Quasimodo the Red-Eyed Tree Frog, he began asking me to make him a stag beetle. Reluctant at first due to a fear of not doing the wonderful stag beetle justice, I was finally persuaded by the following quote from a loyal customer:
