I have always been incredibly envious of people who can sew and knit and would love to own a hand Singer sewing machine so this piece is a homage to all those gifted people.
Perched atop a vintage brass miniature sewing machine which has been hand painted by myself and housed in a vintage glass case sits a little needle felted bumble bee - there to provide inspiration and motivation.
Measures approximately 9 x 6.5 x 6.5cm.
I intentionally use vintage, repurposed cases to aid the impression of weary grandeur, therefore, whilst wholly sound they are not perfect, please bear this in mind if you prefer high gloss and clean lines.
