Going to the beach and collecting little pebbles and shells and having a lovely little box to put your memories in.
The boxes I make have been used by people who buy them for all sorts of things, using them as gift boxes, keepsake box, storing odd and ends, a favourite is making home made truffles and putting them in the boxes.

Full description
A nautical themed box with the words, live in the sunshine,swim in the sea, drink the wild air.
The box is made out of papier mache, light but very robust, I have painted the box duck egg blue on the outside. Lightly distressed and sealed with PVA glue to provide protection. I have designed the decoration myself and then decoupaged onto the lid.
The rims of the box are hand finished with gold acrylic paint and I have lined the inside base of the box with vintage inspired paper. The inside of the box is painted an antique cream.
Size matters..the box is 15cm square and 7cm deep.
