I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.

Full description

Part of my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.

My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.

A little, 8.5 cm square dish, twice fired in my kiln, first to full fuse all the glass together, 2nd to slump it over a little round mould into a pretty dish shape.

I've called this Rustic as it is, by design, not quite square, not quite straight edged.

It has a slightly lipped edge and is 2.5 cm deep .

I've made it entirely from frit / small glass pieces. All piled together to form a square then scatted with lots of my precious dichroic glass to give lovely sparkles here and there. I've used a base of blue and clear then added some lovely plum and bright dichroic which together give a lovely sparkly, colourful effect.

I fused it to 1500 degrees to melt it all together and then slumped it onto a little dish shape with the corners draped over to give the rustic shape

A very pretty little dish for your trinkets, your earrings or just to enjoy as an ornament.

I find my fused glass pieces very tactile and this dish is lovely to just hold.

It will be sent smothered in bubble wrap in my rather innovative (takeaway) packaging which can be used as a gift box and also keeps it very safe for postage.
