Seagulls are a constant sound and sight where I live and I love them. Their cry is so evocative of the seaside and they strut about with such attitude. I find myself drawing them a lot, and I love making them in stained glass. I like the idea of bringing a little bit of the seaside into everyones home!

Full description
This jaunty fellow is on a day trip to Brighton, he says the chips are better there! He's made from white and grey transluscent glass, with a bright orange beak and pink feet to help him stand up. He's made with copper foil and solder containing lead and tin, so he's not to be played with. He likes it better indoors but he's fine outside if you keep him away from frost, secure his feet against the wind and keep him away from your lunch, he is a seagull after all! He has copper wire soldered all around him whuch makes him nice and strong. He's 16cm high, his body is 7cm wide and his feet are set 14 cm apart.
