I love seagulls, they are an integral part of the place where I live. They have such character and their cry is so evocative of the seaside I just had to make some. Stained glass is my first love but I really enjoy the effects of fused glass.

Full description
A fused glass seagull about 10cms high who can stand up all on his own. His feet are set apart 9cms and he has nickel chromuim wire fused into his body and feet to help his candy pink feet stand up. He's made from two layers of glass, one clear and one coloured, fused together to a high shine. His back is flat and slightly textured and he is made from translucent white glass with the clear coming through in places to catch the light. His legs are made from nickel chromium wire.
I use recycled or re-used packaging where I can and I will post this item with lots of packing as a signed for parcel (UK).
