I wanted to produce a really refreshing zesty tasting gin and drew inspiration from all the craft breweries starting up in London. Hops are a classic way of putting citrus and bitter taste and aroma into a beer. Its popular in pale ales, IPAs and American pale ales. Certainly not a beginners gin.

Full description
This hand made package from Gin Wizard contains all the botanicals you need to make a unique home made gin in the style of a refreshing hoppy citrus gin. No distillation or expensive equipment is required. All you need is a standard 750ml bottle of neutral spirit such as vodka and you can be sipping your own gin within two days.
Add the packet of juniper berries to the vodka and leave for 24 hours. Then add the remaining ingredients for a further 24 hours. Strain out the spices and your gin is ready. The botanicals will give the finished product a natural harmless golden hue (normally removed through distillation in commercially manufactured gins). For a lighter taste and aroma leave the spices in the bottle for a shorter period.
This gin differs in flavour from a London style gin by toning down some of the traditional botanicals and enhancing the citrus ingredients and adding Chinook hops (normally used in brewing) for that tangy citrus finish. This gives the gin a citrus flavour with a slightly sour finish. One of the gin connoisseur looking for something a bit different rather than the novice gin drinker.
