Full description
This nautical thermometer has been hand cut from wood using an electric fretsaw and features a sailor and ships wheel with a thermometer in the centre of the wheel. The rope has been plaited and attached to frame the thermometer. The piece is mounted on a small plinth with decorative edging so is free standing to place anywhere.
It is finished in a black gloss paint, with a velvety lining underneath to prevent any scratching.
The thermometer has a gold tone surround and reads in both Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C)
This would make a great father's day present or gift for any occasion for the men (especially for the man cave!) But would be welcomed by anyone with a love of nautical things.
Size: 14.5cm across x 17cm tall (5 3/4" x 6 3/4") and is 6mm thick (1/4")
