These amusing little birds often visit our garden. They congregate in the Holly tree where we hang our various bird feeders and entertain us with their acrobatic antics.
The Sorbus tree is a specimen tree in a friends garden, Gary noticed the colour of the berries was such a match for the pink of the Long Tailed Tit he just had to bring them together in this charming print.

'Long-tailed Tits in Sorbus', limited edition linocut printed on hand press in grey, pink and charcoal ink. Signed, editioned and titled in pencil by the artist.

Every time an image is hand pressed the anticipation of the reveal when pulling back the paper can make for some wonderful, unique images. The weight of the press, amount of ink and paper used means every single print is different, such a refreshing change in this digital age.
Limited Edition of 100, (plus 10 Artists Proofs), once these are all sold that's the edition finished and the lino plates will be destroyed, which means you've bought something very special!
Certificate of authenticity will be included with the print.
