I found a fallen tree after the floods in december in my area and cut it up and dried for turning. I was very impressed by the pattern of the wood and have three similar items myself.

Full description
Hand made by myself from spalted beech, i made this from a fallen tree so no trees were harmed. I gather my wood from the local area in n.yorkshire.
This is a solid bowl and is perfect for tea lights even bigger pillar candle would look cool too.
Spread candle light upwards lovely and would be a great centre piece on a coffee table or window sill.
