Full description

This lucky sixpence coin charm is handmade using a genuine British sixpence (year may vary to picture) made of cupronickel representing something old or borrowed, with a silver plated lobster claw clasp as something new, an ivory rice pearl as something borrowed (from the ocean) and lastly, a bead of blue mountain jade representing something blue.

This charm could be attached to the shoe of the bride on her wedding day to bring luck, as the old wives tale says a bride with a sixpence in her shoe will have a happy and long marriage. Alternatively, this charm could be easily attached to a more discreet place like a garter to ensure luck is kept close to the bride.

This charm is also suitable for a groom to wear on his buttonhole with a flower.
