My original canvas artworks incorporates pattern and printed fabrics. I had lots of offcuts and through accidently experimenting with hardening the offcuts I enjoyed the way the fabric took on a whole new look and visualised the cut shapes suitable for jewellery making. My background is in textile design and i had no experience of jewellery making , therefore I had to teach myself from scratch and found the whole thing mesmerizing

Full description
This beautiful and unique necklace has been created using images from the vintage childrens book Cinderella by ladybird 606d series which has gone through an hardening process; attached to a ceramic tile base before going through an enamelling process and then attached to a silver plated snake chain necklace with lobster fastening. The overall finish of the pendant makes it resemble a piece of ceramic pottery. The necklace is of a medium weight.
Please note pattern placements may vary.
Measurments - square pendant measures approximately 2cm x 2 cm and the snake chain length is 16".
In order to keep postage costs as low as possible and to help care for the enviroment, please bear in mind this item will be sent using recycled packaging.
