I was inspired to knit something using a new method that I discovered at my local knit and natter group. Modular knitting is knitting lots of squares without having to sew up afterwards. Each square is started by casting on from your previous squares. This gives it a lovely mitred finish.

Full description
I have created this wonderfully soft modular blanket in coastal colours. Each little square is knitted using the mitred square method. I have knitted the border in stripes of garter stitch. It measures approx 135cm x 105cm and is made using stylecraft special dk coast pack.
This blanket is machine washable on a cool wool cycle. I would recommend drying flat and reshape as necessary.
I will post this blanket using Royal Mail Special Delivery.
