These pear shaped grey pearls are reminded me of the painting "Girl With A Pearl Earring" by Vermeer. All of the pearls from this strand have a wonderfully shiny surface and pearly iridescence which compliments my minimalist design.

Full description
Soft silver grey freshwater pearls are mounted on my own classic hand made silver findings. These pearls are quite large and chunky at 10 mm in length and are an unusual conical shape which I find fascinating. The earrings themselves measure a total of 35 mm or 1 1/4" in length. These pearls are really special, not just because of their size but because they have an extremely smooth surface and wonderful lustre that captures the light and returns it many colours, just like the earring in the painting that inspired them. They are carefully packaged in a box ready to be presented as a gift.
