This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
The little duck is swimming on a pond of bright greeny blue glass and sports a red hat with a millefiori bead decoration. It has a piece of green flowering weed, made from glass millefiori beads, in its beak,
I am very pleased with this bright and cheerful design.
The suncatcher hangs by a little silver chain is securely attached to the duck’s hat. .
It is approximately 10 cm wide and 8 cm high.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and/or textures of glass.
The 5th photo is of the duckling I made previously so you can see each is unique though to the same design.
