I love using leather to make flower brooches. The brooches are tactile yet firm and hold their shape well in wear. I wanted a way to make them slightly more realistic and when I experimented with handpainting the centres I was really pleased with the effect. I hope you are too!

Brooch Corsage Lapel Pin Red Rose Handpainted Leather.
Brooch corsage or lapel pin handmade in gorgeous quality red Italian leather with a leather vintage button centre and separate leaf. The flower centre and leaf are handpainted to create a lifelike effect.
Dimensions are: 8 cm across and 10 cm including leaf. Depth is 1.5 cm and the brooch pin measures 3.8cm. All measurements are approximate. (Please note the hat is not included).
The flower fastens securely with a nickel plate steel brooch pin at the back which means it sits nicely without drooping. This is an ideal decoration for your jacket, hat, lapel or bag and would make a perfect Mother's Day gift.
An added bonus is that because each flower is individually made and handpainted, no-one else can have exactly the same brooch as you!
