Full description
Pewter hare brooch. I think of this as my summer hare, one that I might surprise as I am walking across a field in the summer. He is decorated with lots of things that I associate with the summer, suns flowers and the stars and moon of warm summer evenings.
I designed and made the original in silver and now hand cast him in pewter in my home workshop in Lincolnshire.
I really love him and hope that you will too.
